Every Monday I am going to try to post something that amazes me (in a good or bad way). My hopes are to show you a little something new, funny, awesome, interesting, or down right ridiculous.
This being the first installment of the Monday Find, I am both pleased and horrified to pass this one on. This is a video I was shown quite a while ago, but I have noticed it popping back up in myspace and facebook posts recently. Personally I don’t think I can really put into words how this video makes me feel. I remember the first time I saw it I watched it with my mouth slightly open, and a look on my face much like when I first saw the 2girls1cup video (and yes, this video disgusts me almost as much).
The video in question is from a “band” called Brokencyde called “Freaxxx”. Honestly the only way I would find this acceptable, is if I saw some home video footage from a year before the band was formed, where everyone involved was either drunk or high, talking about how they wanted to fuck with the recording industry. They would then have to outline a plan of what the most obnoxiously horrible music would be (boring, cheesey, vocoder dance music with some “screamo” flavoring thrown in there). I would also want a long tirade of horrible fashion and hair cuts to explain how ridiculous they look. I think if that video was played for me, I would then be able to accept Brokencyde, and even somewhat endorse them.
The sad reality tho, is I bet they are 100% serious about this, and when approached about their band, think they are fucking amazing and deserve whatever money the music industry is giving them. (I hope it’s hardly anything…tho I fear at least a few luxury cars have been purchased). :/

Contrary to some notions, good researched articles still fetch in reviewers like me. You paraded broad understanding of the theme matter and my views are now complete after reading your post.
