Yesterday i went down to KUCI to hang out with Patrick during his last show for the quarter. It was fun. Total fucking blast from the past to be in the great halls of KUCI again. That radio station is a place I spent almost a decade basically living in. While a lot has changed, most of it is still the same, and it’s nice to see that college radio is still around in that form for new students to be exposed to. Especially considering the way commercial radio has gone in Socal lately (with Indie and Free FM both shutting their doors)…that leaves only college radio to give kids that kind of exposure to good music, cause we know besides Indie, the rest of commercial radio was worthless.
Anyway, I better stop myself before I go off on this topic. I’m sure there will be a long post about it at some point. But I will leave you with this video, in honor of Patrick and Limbeck. It’s pretty fucking amazing!!!! I love it!
